Erwan Le Roux
Sailor

Born September 7, 1974 in Auray (56)

Drawn to the world of recreational sailing at the age of 19, Erwan quickly turned to competitive racing and never looked back!
He is a versatile sailor, who is as comfortable on a monohull (Mini 6.50, Figaro, M34) as on a multihull (Multi50, Diam24), and has developed his technical and sporting expertise over a number of years, and through a number different events.
He has made a name for himself on the MINI circuit and the multihull championships, winning a number of events and he is also a key figure on the Multi 50 series, he won the Route des Princes in 2013, the Route du Rhum in 2014 and the Grand Prix Guyader in 2017.  Already a triple winner of the Transat Jacques Vabre in this year’s 13th edition of the event he will again be on the startling sailing the Multi 50 FENÊTREA-MIX BUFFET with Vincent RIOU.
Erwan was part of the victorious Spindrift racing crew in the 2016 Transat Quebec Saint-Malo so racing on Spindrift 2 will not come as no surprise having already made his mark aboard the maxi trimaran.
