Gregory Gendron
Sailor

Born 16 August 1983 in Saint Nazaire (France)
Lives in Guidel

A keen sportsman, Gregory first started sailing with his family and, after working his way through the dinghy fleet - Optimist, Laser and 420, he moved onto larger boats and joined the Tour de France a la Voile circuit, while completing his education. His talent was spotted by Antoine Koch and he joined the crew on the multihuill Sopra during the final years of the Orma class.  Shortly after he joined the ranks of professional sailors and, in 2007, skippered the figaro Sopra.  Buoyed up by his solo experience, Grégory returned to the multihull class sailing with a number of different teams.  His expertise and experience in multihulls make him a crew of choice for this new attempt at the Jules Verne Trophy.
