Sail designer at North Sails and additionally to being a talented navigator, Jacques Guichard is an aficionado of large multihulls and a trimming expert. Winner of the Krys Ocean Race and the Multi One Championship 2012 on board MOD70 Spindrift racing with his brother, Jacques is constantly looking up because as a sailmaker, the sligthest breath of wind on the canvas must be converted into propelling force. In addition to his numerous navigations on board ORMA and other sports multihulls, his perfectionism combined with a great character and humor, make him a valuable team member. From 2002 to 2012, the biggest names in racing have passed under his keen sailmaking eye and exceptional craftsmanship, which now helps to serve Spindrift racing.
