Spindrift racing

Given his proven sailing experience at the Olympic Games and at the helm of off-shore racing trimarans, Yann Guichard has created and is running Spindrift, a company focused on multihulls in order to support and implement international sailing projects.

The MOD70 N°05 Spindrift racing is the flagship project of Spindrift. Seeing that the MOD70 is about to become the boat of reference for the next 10 years, the fact of being associated with such an innovative project represents a fantastic opportunity for the young company. The upcoming Tour will be also a fantastic springboard for Yann Guichard and his team, bringing high visibility to the boat. The Multi One Championship will be paced by the European Tour, World Tour and Ocean Race with in-shore races held in major capital cities.

An accomplished sportsman, graduate in sport management, Léo Lucet is recognized for having run various projects in the last 10 years. Léo worked closely with the Gitana 10, 11,12,13 and Eighty teams, prepared and helmed racing boats, was responsible for onshore operations in logistics or public relations. From 2009 to 2011, he ran his own consulting company Unisail, specialised in marketing research and communications strategies audits, and providing conferences on sailing projects profitability analysis.
