Yann Jauvin
Sailor

Born: Paris, 28th February 1993
Lives:  La Baule, France

Despite only being 27 years old, Yann Jauvin already has substantial experience of sailing, racing in the 29er and 49er. He joined the Pôle Espoir then the Pôle France when he was 15, and prepared Olympic campaigns for the Rio Games (2016) and the Tokyo  Games (2021).  In parallel to his Olympic programme and selection for the 2016 Games, he gained extensive experience in both match racing and fleet racing across a wide variety of boats including the J80, First 7.5 and Longtze as well as the foiling GC32 and Moth.  This diverse range of experience makes him a much sought-after sailor and his youthful ability will make him a valuable member of Spindrift racing’s TF35 team.
