The World Match Racing Tour final has not experienced the conditions that would be considered normal for the summer in Marstrand.
Strong winds and rain have swept across the race course throughout the week, making for very unusual and challenging racing conditions.
In the quarter finals, Yann Guichard and his crew had a close battle with the Australian Torvar Mirsky, finally losing to the World Champion by 3-2.
"The racing conditions were very difficult with gusty wind conditions that varied in both intensity and direction. Torvar really is a very good adversary, and the racing was very close but they managed to get one ahead," commented Yann Guichard.
