The Kiel Sailing Cup, third stage of the 2015 Bullit GC32 Racing Tour, which welcomed the five teams racing on the circuit, concluded this evening after four days of racing. On the Baltic Sea river estuaries, the Spindrift team, skippered by Yann Guichard finish second after winners Alinghi.

The third event on the circuit, which gathers Olympic champions, America‘s Cup and international racing circuit sailors, showcased the high standard and professionalism across the board.

Although the crowd was constantly behind them, the wind was not. Too strong at first and then not enough, conditions did however allow for seventeen races despite the very erratic wind over the Kiel fjord race area.

Yann Guichard, GC32 Spindrift Skipper looks back on the last four days of racing: "Conditions on the water were not very stable, both in terms of direction of the wind and force, which made for tough racing for all the teams. Well done to Alinghi, who was consistently impressive throughout the event. I am happy with our results and teamwork as we improved daily".
