Spindrift’s Diam 24 finishes second in the Grand Prix de l’École Navale 2015

This weekend, after nine races and many intense battles at the front of the race, Spindrift racing finished second in the Diam 24 competition in the Grand Prix de l’École Navale. It is a good result for Yann Guichard in what was the final event before July’s Tour de France à la Voile.

In moderate, 8-10 knot winds and beautiful sunshine in Brest-Lanvéoc, the team held everything together in the races around the bay and along the coast on Friday and Saturday. Today, there was no wind, so the Sunday races were cancelled. The black and gold outfit fought hard from the first to the last race, and finished just two points behind the winners.
